Turkish Citizenship
Application by Investment
As a result of the evaluations made by the relevant authorities before applying for Turkish citizenship by investment, a "Certificate of Conformity" is issued to determine that foreigners are within the scope of "people who can get citizenship by investment". Certificate of Conformity shows that the investment complies with the Law and is officially approved. It is also the basic application document in the Turkish citizenship application.
Afterward, foreigners who want to obtain Turkish citizenship by investment must bring together the following documents with the Certificate of Conformity:
1. Turkish citizenship application form (VAT-4 Form),
2. Turkish residence permit document,
3. Passport or similar document showing the person is the citizen of which state,
4. Marital status certificate (If the applicant is married, a marriage certificate is required, if he is divorced, a divorce certificate is required,
and if he/she is a widow, a death certificate of his spouse is required),
5. Document showing the identity of the person, such as a birth certificate or identity register copy (If the applicant is married, a copy of the identity register copy or similar document proving the family ties of the spouse and children.),6. A receipt showing that the application service charge has been paid,
7. 2 biometric photographs, 50x60 mm in size, taken on a white background, without a pattern, in accordance with the standards set by ICAO and can be read in the machine,
8. Power of Attorney (In case the application will be made through a lawyer.),
9. Consent letter (In case the applicant has a child under the age of 18 who wants to be a Turkish citizen, a corresponding consent letter is required.),
10. If there are first or second-degree Turkish citizen relatives of the foreign applicant, the identity register copy that can be obtained from the E-government is also required.
All documents required for Turkish citizenship applications must be original and approved. These documents must be issued/approved by a public notary, foreign representative, or the competent authorities of their country, depending on their qualification. Otherwise, your Turkish citizenship applications will not be accepted by the relevant authority. In order not to encounter such a situation and not to prolong the application process, the application files should be prepared meticulously by bringing together all the documents completely.
